Puddle Jumpers: Simple and Proven Ways to Raise Confident & Joyful Kids
Raise resilient kids who can handle anything—by leading with compassion, not pressure.
Every parent wants strong, confident kids. For years, Navy SEAL sniper instructor Brandon Webb thought toughness came from strict discipline and perfection. Then he became a dad—and realized he was wrong.
In Puddle Jumper Parenting, Webb shares how true mental toughness is built through calm consistency, emotional safety, and the everyday words our kids hear: “You’ve got this.” “Try again—I believe in you.”
This approach doesn’t mean permissive parenting or harsh, authoritarian rules. Instead, Webb shows you how to set high expectations while giving high support—so kids feel safe enough to take risks, make mistakes, and bounce back stronger.
Inside, you’ll discover how to replace harsh criticism with healthy, positive self-talk, use simple visualization tools to lower anxiety and build confidence, and give your kids the freedom to “fail forward” while still feeling deeply supported.
Drawing from elite military training and years of real-life parenting, Webb offers a practical, compassionate roadmap for raising kids who leap into life’s puddles, learn from every splash, and grow up grounded and joyful—not fearful or perfectionistic.
A portion of proceeds from this book will go towards The Red Circle Charitable Foundation, which helps families of fallen Special Operations Warriors.
