You already know what your kids need. So, why isn’t anything changing?
You've read the books. You've listened to the podcasts. You know your kids need more independence, more challenge, more room to fail and recover. You've probably even tried it… for a few days.
Then life happened. Your schedule got tight. Your kid had a meltdown, and you stepped in for the rescue because it was easier. Now you're back to where you started, wondering why nothing sticks.
But information alone doesn't change behavior, modeling does. Yours or theirs. What changes behavior is practice — small, consistent reps done over time with accountability and a structure that keeps you from quitting when it gets uncomfortable.
Most parenting content is one and done. Operation Puddle Jumper gives you the reps you need.

Your mission
Week 1: Reset the parent.
Before you can build a resilient kid, you have to look at your own habits.
Week 1, you'll identify the language patterns and rescue reflexes that are quietly undermining your child's confidence — and practice replacing them with something that actually works.

Week 2: Build the kid.
Once you've reset your own defaults, you'll give your child the tools to handle any setbacks or challenges.
You'll run a real debrief with your kid, teach them one mental skill for handling hard feedback, and set a courage goal you'll both work toward over the next 30–90 days.

A note from Brandon
At 28, I became the head instructor of the US Navy SEAL sniper course. The hard part wasn't teaching someone to shoot straight over one mile. The real test was teaching them to manage their minds when the stress hit.
I learned mental management from some of the best performance coaches in the world. Turns out, it works just as well for parenting as it does for training snipers.
I left the Navy in 2006. Lost my first business, lost my life savings, went through a divorce — all while figuring out how to be a dad to three kids.
They grew into happy, confident adults. I made a lot of mistakes, but I also got a lot right.
What worked wasn't a parenting philosophy. It was practice — changing my language, stopping myself from rescuing them, and teaching them how to handle hard things instead of shielding them from it. That's what this challenge is built around.
I'm not a perfect father. But I've figured out how to raise great kids. And these two weeks are where you start doing the same.

This challenge is for you if…
Your kid falls apart the moment things don't go their way — and you don't know how to help without making it worse.
You react first and regret it later. You know your kids are watching, and you want to model something better.
Your child shuts down after criticism from a coach, teacher, or peer — and takes days to bounce back.
You're navigating the teen years and feeling the distance grow. The window is shorter than you think.
You're done reading about resilience. You want to actually practice it — with your kid, this week.

Is this for moms, dads, or both?
Both. The skills and missions work for any parent, co-parent, or caregiver who wants to show up more intentionally for their kids.
What age kids is this for?
The missions are designed to work across a wide range of ages. Whether you have an 8-year-old or a 16-year-old, the framework is the same — you'll adapt the specific tasks to fit where your kid is right now.
What if I can’t make the live calls?
Every call is recorded. You'll have full replay access, so you can follow the program at your own pace and won't miss anything.
How much time does this take each day?
Not much. The daily prompts are designed for busy parents — most check-ins take 5–10 minutes. The live calls are where you'll do the deeper work, and those are 60–90 minutes each.
